The project created employment opportunities and incomes for vulnerable households and uplifted their living conditions and restores livelihoods to meet their basic needs. Furthermore, the project employs 751 participants and created jobs for vulnerable and marginalized groups through cash based transfer/voucher for assets by rehabilitating infrastructure asset- Canal 24 of Mashruuca in Isgoys village of Balad district employs 243 participants by rehabilitating 1,198 CUM , two water catchments of Filadhere and Qoralow villages employing 262 participants in Warsheik district by excavating 1198 CUM per water catchment and four feeder roads of Aw-muse (Bush clearing and leveling of 38,000 Square meter ), Sheikhyalo ( Bush clearing and leveling 52,000 square meter) , Bakaw(Bush clearing and leveling of 44,000 Square meter) and Xagaydeg (Bush clearing and leveling of 68,000 Square meter ) villages in Warsheik district employing 246 participants. Creating assets will benefit whole populations as a public own.
project deliverables paved the way an increased productivity for beneficiaries from marginalized communities, female headed HH living in Filadhere, Qoralow, Aw-muse, Sheikhyalo, Bakaw, Xagaydeg and Isgoys villages of Balad and Warsheik districts that helps them better access to food and other basic needs.
